Frigg je najvyššia bohyňa severskej mytológie, manželka Odina a matka pokolenia Ásov. Bohyňa manželstva, materstva, plodnosti, lásky, domáceho kozuba a oblohy. Bola uctievaná ako ochrankyňa manželskej lásky a žien v domácnosti. Vie predpovedať budúcnosť, pretože pozná osudy ľudí aj bohov, ale neurčuje ich. Vie liečiť choroby, zranenia a často stojí po boku manžela počas divokých bojov. Jej symbolom je zväzok kľúčov.Frigginou spoločníčkou je Eir, liečiteľka bohov a bohyňa liečenia. Frigginými pobočníčkami sú Hlín – bohyňa ochrany, Gná – bohyňa posolstiev a Fulla – bohyňa plodnosti.

Frigg is the supreme goddess of Norse mythology, the wife of Odin and the mother of the Æsir tribe. The goddess of marriage, motherhood, fertility, love, the home hearth and the sky. She was worshipped as the protector of conjugal love and women in the household. She can predict the future, because she knows the fates of people and gods, but does not determine them. She can heal illnesses, injuries and often stands by her husband during fierce battles. Her symbol is a bunch of keys. Frigga’s companion is Eir, the healer of the gods and the goddess of healing. Frigga’s assistants are Hlín – the goddess of protection, Gná – the goddess of messages and Fulla – the goddess of fertility.
